Hitting the Wall: When Strength Runs Out

🕊️ When you’ve reached the end of your strength, you’re standing at the beginning of His.

✝ “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

By Wednesday evening, Angela was done. The week had stretched her to her limits. The work stress, family needs, and exhaustion from trying to keep everyone happy has zapped her energy. Her faith felt thin; her smile, forced.

Sitting in her car after work, she whispered, “Lord, I can’t do this anymore.” The stillness that followed wasn’t empty. It was full of grace. She felt a quiet response rise within: “Good. Now you’ll see what My strength looks like.” The tears that came weren’t weakness—they were surrender.

Angela realized she’d been living as though God were her backup plan instead of her lifeline. Maybe that’s you today, feeling a bit stretched, weary, or worn thin by the weight of everything you’re carrying.

GUTSI Insight: God doesn’t need your strength to show His power. GUTSI living means letting grace do what grit can’t.

GUTSI Pick-Me-Up: Your limits aren’t liabilities—they’re invitations to lean on God.

GUTSI Move: Identify one area where you feel depleted. Whisper, “Lord, be strong for me here,” and release control into His capable hands.
